Radiation is something that certainly rings a bell for individuals all over the globe irrespective of everything. To be true, the tern Radiation does not have a great history to present to human kind as well. This is probably the reason why the fear amidst the humans about radio frequency radiation is there. Well, I certainly do not blame the individuals who fear that radio frequency radiation might just be causing them a world of harm, but sadly it is not entirely true. The risky radiations that people need to know about the high end radiations like X-rays and Gamma rays, etc.
There is a common belief amidst the humans that the Radio frequency EMF that comes out of the mobile towers is very harmful for all human beings. There is EMF all around us. The visible light is an EMF, the sunlight is an EMF and there are many EMFs that are present on Earth which we cannot perceive. The common idea that EMF radiation liberated from the mobile towers cancer, brain damage, to all living individuals is not true. There is a whole lot of myth running about it and it needs to be cleared out.
Let us discuss something about EMF Radiation and the physics involved. If I say that we live in a world where there is radiation everywhere. There are innumerable radiation waves that surround your physical body and you do not even feel lit. This is because the EMF radiation that engulfs you is too weak to actually have any sort of impact of your living cells. The space emits enormous amounts of ultraviolet radiations, x-rays and gamma rays and quite a lot of it hits the earth and enters it, but by the time they reach the surface of the earth most of them are too weak to actually cause any damage.

The scenario is the same with radio frequency EMF radiation. The unit used to measure radiation is electron Volt. Let us consider a high energy radiation beam like a UV ray or an X-ray. They measure around about 100 electron Volt to 1 Lac electron Volt. But by the time, these rays reaches the earth’s surface, they have lost a lot of energy and are reduced to extremely minimal amounts, thus causing no harm.
Before we talk about the radio frequency EMF radiation, it is important that you know that the light rays that we see have an energy level of 1 electron Volt. So, how much does a radio frequency radiation hold? Well, you will be surprised to know that a radio frequency radiation wave has energy of a one by a million parts of that of 1 electron Volt. Believe me, this is not me who is making things up. There is a whole lot of science behind it to support the theory. So, now you decide, if light at 1 electron Volt is so soothing to your eyes, what can a one by million part of light wave radiation do to you? The answer is nothing. You actually do not need to worry about radiation emitted by radio frequencies.
According to a statement released in a WHO factsheet, “Tissue heating is the principal mechanism of interaction between radiofrequency energy and the human body. At the frequencies used by mobile phones, most of the energy is absorbed by the skin and other superficial tissues, resulting in negligible temperature rise in the brain or any other organs of the body.” It also states, “The international pooled analysis of data gathered from 13 participating countries found no increased risk of glioma or meningioma with mobile phone use of more than 10 years.”
The myth that is around the electromagnetic frequency is nothing but a fear of humans beings to something about which they do not know a lot about. There is no doubt of the fact there are many wave frequencies which when comes to the contact of the human beings can be harmful, but with radio frequencies, there is nothing to worry about.
