The 5th CII National Cloud Summit 2016 recently took place on 27th May 2016 in the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, India. People from all backgrounds and media persons from all leading channels attended the event. The tagline of the event – CLOUD COMPUTING: BEYOND PROMISE TO DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION summed up all there was to see at the event.
The event took off with an inaugural session whose purpose was to welcome all the attendees and guests and to address the topics which would be addressed in the coming time. The welcome remarks were given by Mr. S. Premkumar, Chairman – CII National Sub Committee on Cloud Computing & Executive Vice Chairman & MD – HCL Infosystems Ltd. This was followed by Theme Address from Mr. Arnab Basu, Partner – PricewaterhouseCoopers. Address from Mr Sekar N, Vice President – Cloud HCM Engineering SAP India, Mr Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman CII National Committee on IT & ITes and Chairman, Microsoft India Ltd and Guest of Honor by Ms Neeta Verma, Director general, National Informatics Centre, Department of Electronics & Information Technology ( DeitY) Govt of India.

There have been some great innovations in the cloud history recently. This session highlighted some of the great examples to inspire the attendees. Also, there have been some great examples where cloud was implemented in different industries.
