These two companies are top smartphone makers in China. The LeEco launched the Le 1S smartphone recently, and Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 3.

These two smartphones from two biggest Chinese giants are falling in the same category, i.e., Budget Smartphones. The LeEco Le 1S is an incredible smartphone with the 5.5 inches Full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080p. The Display is IPS-in-cell type.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has the same display specifications of 5.5-inch display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080p Resolution. However, the display is IPS Sunlight type, with a pixel density of 401 ppi.


Processor:

The LeEco Le 1S smartphone has an incredible processing power, thanks to its MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 processor. This processor backed with a 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and the 32GB in-built storage works super smooth while using the phone. The only thing that disappoint this phone is the lack of External Storage via MicroSD Card.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 runs on 1.8GHz Hexa-core Snapdragon 650 / 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 along with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 32GB eMMC 5.0 storage / 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB eMMC 5.0 storage respectively. Thanks to Xiaomi, the internal memory of these smartphone can be increased up to 128Gb via a MicroSD card.


Camera Specifications:

With the rear camera of 13MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor and LED Flash with capability of 4K video recording, the Le 1S becomes the better contender in Budget smartphone range. It also has the front camera of 5MP with Samsung CMOS BIS Sensor.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features a stunning 16MP f/2.0 CMOS sensor (Snapdragon Processor Variant) / 13MP f/2.2 CMOS Sensor  ( MediaTek Processor Variant) with Dual LED Flash and 1080p video recording capabilities for. On the front side, it features a 5MP camera with Omnivision sensor.


Battery and Connectivity:

LeEco Le 1S gets its juice from a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery which also supports Fast Charging feature. On the Connectivity side, it has 4G LTE, Dual SIM, Wireless HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a whopping 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging feature. On the connectivity side, it has features like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, IR Blaster and GPS.


Pricing:

The LeEco Le 1S has priced at INR 10,999 / $163 whereas Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is yet to launch tomorrow in India but is currently priced at $173 for its 2GB RAM, 16GB variant and $220 for 3GB RAM, 32GB Variant on chinese ecommerce websites.

 

Our Verdict:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has better specifications in Battery and Camera Department. However, the LeEco Le 1S has concentrated on the Build quality, Fast Charging and the Display quality of the smartphone. That is why, in this comparison, the LeEco Le 1S becomes the best smartphone in comparison with Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
