Mac OS X is second best operating system. The first one is obviously Windows since it is cheaper as well as comes with tons of software. Nevertheless, Mac is not so bad
because sometime you can find some substitute of Windows apps on your Mac OS X.
Today I am going to publish such a trick that will help you to change your default folder icon. You can make this change with any folder including default library folder, desktop folder or anything else.
You don’t have to use any additional application since Mac offers it by default. This is however very simple and will take less than 30 seconds to complete entire procedure.
How to use image as icon?
At first open an image and copy that. You can use cmd + c to copy.
Then choose a folder of which you want to use image as icon and right click on that to navigate through Get Info. Then press the folder icon at the top – beside the folder/app name.
Then paste the image, means press cmd + v. Then press the close button and check the icon.
Previously, my Contact app had the following icon;
Now I have changed it to the following one;
